2. Business Plan:

  • A comprehensive document that outlines the borrower’s business model, market analysis, growth strategy, and how the loan will be used to generate revenue and repay the debt.

 

3. Financial Statements:

  • Income Statement (Profit & Loss statement)

  • Balance Sheet

  • Cash Flow Statement

  • Historical financial data (typically 3–5 years) and projections for the next 3–5 years.

 

4. Debt Schedule:

  • A list of all current and past debts, including details of lenders, amounts, interest rates, terms, and repayment schedules.

5. Tax Returns:

  • Company tax returns for the last 2–3 years to verify income and financial stability.

6. Credit Report:

  • Credit reports for the company and potentially for the business owner(s), to assess creditworthiness.
